STUDY MBBS IN BANGLADESH CURRICULUM
The curriculum of MBBS in Bangladesh is simple to understand. It is very similar to the Indian MBBS system and is in sync with the world MBBS education standard practices. The MBBS course is divided into four major phases. Each phase lasts either 1 or 1.5 years and the structure is as follows: Phase 1: The duration of the first phase is 1.5 years. Basic starting subjects like Biochemistry and Anatomy are included in this phase. In this phase, international students get acquainted with the study system in Bangladesh and settle down. They have enough time to pursue their academics as well as live a well-balanced life as an international student. Phase 2: The duration of the second phase is 1 year. In this phase, students are already used to the international study system followed in the medical universities of Bangladesh. Subjects like Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine are taught in this phase. Phase 3: The duration of the third phase is the same as the second phase, 1 year. More subjects are pursued in this phase which includes Microbiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology Therapeutics. Phase 4: The duration of this phase is the same as the first phase, 1.5 years. This phase has the most challenging subjects but enthusiastic students enjoy them thoroughly. These subjects are Medicine, Obstetrics, Medicine, and other allied subjects.
